We’re pleased to introduce Inmate Comics, a mail-order service offering a wide variety of comic books and manga delivered directly to readers inside correctional facilities across the U.S. Whether you’re a fan of comic books, manga, tabletop roleplaying games, art books and more, we work with multiple publishers to help you access the titles you enjoy.

We offer a catalog bundle that includes printed catalogs from several trusted comic and manga distributors. To receive this catalog bundle, please send $10 (payable to Inmate Comics to the address above). Please also include some titles you enjoy so we can send you info on them and add them to our catalog.

Once we receive your request, we’ll mail you the catalog bundle. From there, you can browse at your convenience and place orders directly with us by mail. We’ll work to fill your order quickly and carefully, following all facility mailing rules.

You can also request specific titles and we will contact our distributor to see if they are available. We can then send you an invoice through the mail or email if you have access to an email service. If requesting by mail, please send a self addressed stamped envelope. For email responses, send us the name of the service that you use.

We believe stories should be for everyone and we’re honored to make comics and manga available to those inside. Whether you’re collecting, reading for fun, or just looking for a way to pass time, we’re here for you.

Best regards, Luis Armenta – Owner

Our Services

A collection of comic books is displayed on a surface. The cover of one comic features an illustration of a large pigeon and an old woman with various objects like food and flowers around them. Another comic book cover shows a group of superheroes in action poses.

We order all products directly from distributors and publishers and are new.

A collection of vintage comic books and magazines is displayed on metal racks. Titles like Oswald, Spider-Man, Hulk, and Jack and Jill are visible. The comics are enclosed in plastic sleeves, and some racks are labeled with categories like Marvel Comics, Charlton Comics, Disney & Dell, and Archie Comics. A sign indicates that the comics/mags are priced at $3 unless marked otherwise. There are various colors and illustrations on the covers, showcasing different characters and themes.

All orders are carefully packaged to keep all comics and manga in the best condition possible to quickly go through the correctional staff processing.

A comic book is open to a colorful, action-packed spread. The pages are filled with detailed illustrations and dialogue bubbles, prominently featuring characters in dramatic scenes and dynamic poses. The artwork is vibrant, with a focus on red and orange hues that create an intense atmosphere.

We make all comics and manga easy to be ordered directly from inmates and their families.
